During our second year we welcomed 11 students from NC State University, Appalachian State University, Elon University, High Point University, Meredith College, Catabwa College, and UNC Chapel Hill. Each student brought their own unique prospective's while also bonding with one another, and remembering to have fun! They created an environment that was educational, interpersonal, and interactive!

During the first NC Summer Policy Institute we brought together sixteen students and recent graduates from across the state. This diverse group of students were highly engaged and interactive with one another throughout the weekend. At varying levels of expertise, the students were able to connect in ways that ensured everyone learned a new idea or walked away with a new prospective. In our first year, we had representatives from UNC-Chapel Hill, UNC-Greensboro, Appalachian State University, NC Agriculture and Technical State University, NC Central University, Meredith College, Fayetteville State University, and Campbell University.
